""SAVE TIGERS"" only 1411 left

Our national animal is fighting for its life.

From around 40,000 at the turn of the last century, there are just 1411 tigers left in India.

If we don’t act now, we could lose this part of our heritage forever.

Speak up, blog, share the concern, stay informed… Every little bit helps.

Today only I saw an add by Aircell to save the tigers of our country. The add has shown a very cute little cub waiting for his mother to return. It made my heart melt. And also I was astonished to know that only 1411 of tigers are left. Apart from being the nationl animal, tigers have a lot to do with the ecosystem as well as the food chain. Left alone all other reasons the biggest reason is to save another species form extinction from indian soil. I cannot think of a discovery showcase or a national geographic episode on wildlife without tigers in it. Tigers give the wildlife the natural environment of wildness. They hunt, they roar, they are feared by all other animals....if they are gone it will be a terrible loss for the jungles as well as for us too.

Trying my way to spread the messgae. "SAVE TIGERS" Like the add says read about them gain information how you can help in your own way, use blogs, twitter, facebook, orkut anything you can and spread the message that one valuable species is on the verge of extinction and only few are left. Hope our roar goes a long way to save our wild friends.

ADD TO THE ROAR...rrrrrr...rrrr....rrrrrrr.

GIRLS DO READ .."u can help yourself"

An old saying "God helps those who help themselves". There is this particular thing I felt about crime against women is that somehow a woman is also responsible for these crimes. Its been six years since I am wandering in Delhi the sex capital as well as the nations capital, if any respect is spared for the city after that, few times I have seen a girl or woman stand up against teasing or plain attempt to ravish her dignity.
Let me give you a practical example...I have many girls studying with me and when asked about thier view about DOWRY all are against it but when it somes to their own marriage or their sisters marriage half of them are ok with dowry that her family has to give. If asked "Why don't you stand up agianst it?" the answer is "You don't know the situation in my family" or "I can't go against my family" or "What if the marriage breaks? my family will blame me." or "It is must for a good relationship between two families"
Astonishing I hear these answers form girls who have a master degree. Do we still think crime against women has got much to do with education when it somes to middle class families? The whole mind set has to change here.
Another example- I was just sad to see such behaviour infront of me...I was waiting for my bus to college and this incident happened. A guy followed a girl in his bike to the bus stand and passed lewd comments...the girl was continously trying to ignore that. The break point came when the guy tried to hold her hand, a big strong uncleji who was standing beside caught the guy and pulled him off his bike slapped him hard. He asked the girl to to accompany him to the police station and get an FIR written and he will drag that guy with him. Well the girl refused to go the police station saying she will have trouble with the police. That uncleji was really smart he left the guys collar and said to the girl "You know what you deserve this kind of treatment" In my opinion uncleji was right.
Its time to come out of your shy nature and raise a voice against such acts. If you don't no one can save you be it a few good people around you or God himself.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

Here our soldiers stand from all around the world,
waiting in a line to hear the battle cry.
all are gathered here, victory is near,
The Sound will fill the hall,
bringing Power to us all,
we alone are fighting for metal that is true,
we own the right to live the fight, we're here for all of you! - Manowar

Writing to fight never made much sense to me comma being a pacifist and all comma but blogging is all about expression and i fully intend to exploit the free speech i have access to here period

after all if we dont utilize this medium it would be equivalent to wasting it exclamation mark think of every search you pull up comma every time you open quotes google close quotes something and you find an answer on a blog remember the fact that the data has been put up there by someone comma who had the common good of everybody in mind period

and so i wish all the co authors good luck and hope that this blog will become a melting pot of numerous points of views and different aspects and mind sets allowing us all to open up our individual horizons period

just to prove a point all my punctuations work ,."

yar ye kya faaltu ka time pass hai...

This is what i feel about wrtiting on blog sites.. but my friend rajat daas jo rehta tha bada udaas invited here and adviced to post something which may improve my english jaise khud to sala angrezzz ki aulad hai.. but its ok... ab itna bol raha hai to i thought ki I will post some shit. But really who the crap has time to think and write some crap for the benefit of others. Now that is it for today and this particular creepy post. Next time I hope that I will come up with some good idea. Inconvenience is regretted.

We live with men who rape women! Rip them out of our society!

Sunitha Krishnan fights sex slavery Video on TED.com

It has always been a very ardent topic to wite about but then i think i can let out my anger through this......HAAD ho gai hai abb to when are we going to grow up...???

For us its is a part of daily new to hear or read a new that someone got raped or pushed into human trafficking, we have digested the fact that it a normal news and a part of everyday bad news. WAKE UP it is not a news to be digested you should be having food poisoning with such a news in your stomach.....you think it is not going to effect you?? you are foolish to think that, ever thought what can happen when your mother, sister, girlfriend, friend when ever she is travelling alone to school, to college, to office or anywhere?? you cannot be with them all the time(pardon me for getting personal but i suffer from fits of anger when i come aroung such news). People who are responsible for such horrid crimes live among us we know many of them and they are hidden among us.....starting from the first person you ignored who was teasing a girl in the bus you were in and the one who was bieng too much comfortable with a lady in the metro due to the rush or the one who was too much bold to care for people around him when is is leering and passing comments to a girl. They all are among us and we just let them go and they are ones commiting crime when they become too confident that they own everyone. Its time to throw them out of our society don't tolerate these, be a man and oppose them. There are times i agree you will get no support but stand your ground you are not wrong and among many you have the guts to stand. I have seen guys who are just as ordinay wearing a shirt and and old pant standing against such nuisance and guys who are well bulit and appear to have a money and status running away from such happenings....what i mean is if you have it in you fight for a reason. All i can hope for now is for a better society and people who are not just existing but living.

""Sunitha Krishnan has dedicated her life to rescuing women and children from sex slavery, a multimilion-dollar global market. In this courageous talk, she tells three powerful stories, as well as her own, and calls for a more humane approach to helping these young victims rebuild their lives.""

I came accross this video from a friends blog....i was so much moved tho see this video that it forced me to write this. Guess we still have a few good people having will power who are trying to make this world a better place for women and for all....just try and BE ONE OF THEM.

MODERN INDIA

Amazing a bus conductor gave me this 10 rupee note as change. It left me thinking whoever is the artist he has done a pretty good job. Its been long since India has seen Bapu the same way. Modern India needs a change and the change is dipicted very well. I think there is no harm to see our father of the nation in Rayban specs a french beard and may be a stylish haircut. I intend no harm on his respectable image and i its illegal to tamperwith currency but I loved to steal the little bit of pun the artist intented to show when he might have made that artistic makeover.Amazing Indians.
